Our mission
Expanding access to softball for every girl.
Friends of United Softball exists to expand access to softball and create meaningful opportunities for girls, regardless of financial circumstances.
Why we exist
Financial barriers shouldn't decide who plays.
We believe the benefits of softball extend beyond competition. When cost becomes the deciding factor, girls miss out on more than games — they miss the friendships, mentors, and growth that come with being part of a team.
The barriers
The costs add up quickly.
Registration, tournament fees, equipment, uniforms, and travel can make the game hard to reach for many families. Those costs are real, and they shouldn't limit a girl's opportunity to compete, learn, and belong.
Why it matters
What girls gain on the field goes with them everywhere.
Confidence
Stepping into the box, making the play, and learning that effort pays off.
Teamwork
Trusting teammates, sharing success, and picking each other up.
Resilience
Learning from a strikeout and showing up ready for the next at-bat.
Leadership
Finding a voice in the dugout and carrying it beyond the field.

Our commitment
Serving the broader softball community.
Our support isn't limited to athletes of any single club. We work with girls, families, teams, and community softball organizations — including Little Leagues — to help grow the game for everyone.
Our relationship with United Softball Club
Connected by the game, governed separately.
Friends of United Softball Club, publicly known as Friends of United Softball, is recognized by the IRS as a 501(c)(3) public charity and operates independently. United Softball Club, LLC is a separate, for-profit organization with its own governance.
While we share a passion for softball and a connected visual identity, our charitable mission extends across the broader softball community. We support eligible girls, families, teams, and organizations — including those outside United Softball Club.
